Jimmy Byrd

President

Jimmy Byrd came to the Ledcor Group in 2003 after holding numerous senior level positions with a number of global broadband carriers, forestry and technology companies in the United States as well as executive positions internationally. Jimmy joined 360networks in 2000 as Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw operations for the completion of a global fiber optic network. Currently, as President for both the LTS Group and Ledcor Construction Inc., Jimmy has overall financial and operational responsibility for the LTS Group of Companies’ business in Canada and the United States. Jimmy also oversees the commercial construction group for Ledcor within the mainland United States. Jimmy has an MBA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. 

Joe Grech

Chief Operating Officer

With over two decades of executive and senior management experience in the global wireline and wireless communications industry with TELUS, Cable & Wireless and AT&T, Joe Grech joined Ledcor in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer for the LTS Group of Companies. Joe has a proven record of customer service delivery, exceptional customer insight and focus, and a history of leading organizations to operational excellence. As COO, Joe is responsible for leading all areas of sales and operations for the various divisions in the LTS Group. Joe holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Toronto.

Ray Hazlett

Ray Hazlett came to Ledcor October 1987 as Manager of Accounting. Prior to joining Ledcor, Ray was a senior manager with an international accounting firm and specialized in audit of pipeline and construction companies. Throughout his 20 years with Ledcor, Ray has been responsible for numerous roles within the Accounting and Finance groups and held the positions of VP Accounting, then VP Finance. In 2006, Ray joined the LTS team as their Chief Financial Officer where he works closely with the LTS team to pursue opportunities in the Technical Services and Telecommunications industry. Ray has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in both British Columbia and Alberta. 

Ashwin Chitamun

Ashwin Chitamun heads US business development activities for LTS. Ashwin has been with the LTS Group of Companies from inception and has played a vital role in its growth. He has been directly involved in the telecommunications industry for more than 17 years, specializing in start-up and public company ventures, and has held various product management, business development and network development executive positions with 360networks inc., Teleglobe and fonorola inc. Ashwin has a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Ottawa.

Harminder Gill

Harminder Gill heads Canadian business development activities for LTS. He is a seasoned telecommunications executive with demonstrated expertise in connecting market opportunities to technology innovation to high performance operating models. He has held senior executive positions with Bell Canada and 360networks, inc. Harminder has technical strength across a broad set of wireline and wireless telecommunications technologies. He is a Professional Engineer by trade with a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.

Iain Morris

Iain Morris is responsible for the operational performance of LTS Infrastructure Services Group, including its growth and financial performance. Iain has more than 15 years experience in the construction and operations of telecommunications networks. He has held senior management positions with Ledcor Industries, 360networks inc. and Bell Canada. Iain has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of British Columbia.  

Jan Summarell

Jan Summarell oversees all operational aspects of services delivery to clients of LTS through the LTS Managed Technical Services Group. Jan is one of the original founding members of the LTS Group of Companies and a 25 year veteran of the telecommunications industry, with specialized experience in network operations and international business development. He previously held senior and executive management positions with OSP Consultants, Lightwave Spectrum Inc, and 360networks Inc. During his tenure with Lightwave Spectrum International, Jan oversaw development of a national network in Malaysia and managed Lightwave Spectrum International's business offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Makati City / Manila, Philippines. Mr. Summarell attended the University of Kentucky Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering program in Lexington, KY.

Jim Hallworth

Jim Hallworth leads the LTS Managed Technical Services Group in Canada and is responsible for all operational elements pertaining to the delivery of services to our Canadian customers. Jim is a 30 year veteran of the telecommunications industry and has a vast amount of experience in network operations and the delivery of customer services. He previously held senior leadership positions with TELUS Communications. During his tenure with TELUS, Jim was responsible for the engineering, construction and project management of the Alberta Access Network and has had senior positions with the Alberta Service Delivery organization. Mr. Hallworth has a Bachelor of Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University, located in Athabasca, Alberta.
